Pulse Bouncer™

Pulse Bouncer™ is an add-on that provides a secure bridge between control applications based on Pulse products installed on a physical site (On Premise) and systems that are connected to a non-operational network, external systems, vendors and external cloud services connected to the organization.

Pulse Bouncer™ is suitable for customers with high cyber sensitivity, critical systems, security systems and infrastructure systems.

One-way security gateways replace the firewall within sensitive environments, providing maximum protection for industrial and operational control systems and networks, from attacks originating from external networks. Pulse Bouncer™ which includes such hardware component enables secure one-way communication between Pulse Professional™ or Pulse Enterprise™ and the enterprise IT network (and the Internet in many cases).

The protection gateway consists of both software and hardware components. The hardware components include a transmission module (TX) with an optical laser transmitter, which is connected via an optical fiber to a reception module (RX) that does not include a laser. In this way, the gateway hardware can transmit information from the Industrial Operations Network (OT) to the Information Network and external networks (IT), but it is not possible to transfer information back in to the Operations Network, leaving this network protected from cyber attacks, unauthorized activations, virus infiltration or human error.

Main Features

Offered as an optional extension to Pulse Professional™ or Pulse Enterprise™ and not as a standalone product.

A solution that integrates hardware and software components stored on the secure site.

Absolute separation of the operating network (OT) from other networks (IT) in a way that allows only one-way passage and therefore allows monitoring and alerts but does not allow control and control.

Full transparency for other Pulse Suite™ components operating in the cloud, i.e. outside the operating network (such as Pulse Connected™ or Pulse Executive™) – except for the ability of these tools to return information or control commands to the operating network.

If necessary, replication of databases and files from the operating network, on the external network, so that any changes made to them will not affect the original files on the secure network.
